Peppers Palm Bay Style of Rooms

Peppers Palm Bay Cabins
Furnished with tropical designed, solid timber tables and chairs and decorated in stylish natural tones the cabin offers a luxurious queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. Light floods in through the full wall of windows and patio doors. From your own wooden decked patio you can admire the sparkling Coral Sea and islands whilst lounging in the hammock or you can enjoy the air conditioning, for a private mid day siesta.

Peppers Palm Bay Bure
Furnished and decorated in de-luxe tropical style, with solid timber furnishings and natural tones, the Bures offer a luxurious queen size bed and a modern ensuite. There are distracting views over the Coral sea, with windows and patio doors on two sides of the Bure and your own private, wooden decked balcony. The cool comfort of the lounge area offers the chance for some quiet time and a cold beer from the bar fridge – whilst still enjoying the stunning views.

Peppers Palm Bay Bungalows
The bungalows are luxury suites, each containing a queen bed, day bed, a large ensuite bathroom and separate living area. It’s a dream cottage in a dream location. The tropical wooden louvres give added intimacy to the sleeping area but can be opened to seemingly extend the bedroom into the blue of the sky and seascapes. The cool tiles add to the tropical ambience and are complimented with the luxury of rugs. The décor is fresh, with natural colours and fabrics which compliment rather than compete with the vivid blues and greens and startling light quality of the Great Barrier Reef waters, right outside your windows. The day bed is a good place to curl up with a book and a cup of tea - if you can draw your eyes from the view.

Peppers Palm Bay Platinum Suite
The top of the range Platinum Suite offers one or two bedrooms, each with a private sunroom. On the L shaped balcony there are two separate double hammock areas for you to snooze and catch the breezes. The understated luxury of the Platinum Suites offers comfort and stylish modern extras, such as the plasma screen televisions in the huge lounge area and in each of the two luxurious bedrooms. There is also a DVD and CD player in the lounge room and headphones thoughtfully situated in the bedrooms, so you can all do your own thing without disturbing others.

Outside, the penthouse ambiance of the Platinum Suite is enhanced by the elevated views and a vista of the sparkling Coral Sea and lush green islands of the Whitsunday Passage. It’s difficult to take your eyes away – but there is a large outdoor table setting where you can relax and enjoy the view with a glass of bubbly.

Dining at Peppers Palm Bay

Peppers’ reputation for quality is further enhanced by the gourmet cuisine at La Riviera restaurant. Each night offers a different gourmet selection, expertly cooked from the freshest ingredients, so you’re taste buds will never get bored.

For dinner you could feast on Red Emperor reef fish, served with green papaya cous-cous, bok choy and a chilli, ginger and coriander broth, or perhaps a Fillet of beef served with potato gnocchi, asparagus, thyme roasted tomatoes and red wine jus, would appeal more. The entrees and desserts are equally tantalizing, try for example, Blue cheese and witlof salad with rocket leaves, roasted walnuts and poached figs and for dessert, Coconut parfait served between honey wafers, caramelized bananas and lime syrup, or for pure decadence, perhaps Chocolate fondant with honeycomb and orange segments will entice.
Meals can also be taken on the poolside terrace adjoining the restaurant or for that special occasion Peppers can arrange an intimate candlelit dinner right on the beach. Imagine a fabulous sunset on Tropical Long Island as a setting for a romantic dinner.

On Tuesday nights the team of chefs really springs into action with a seven-course wine-matched degustation menu. This special event is hosted at the Beachhut from 5.30pm so you can enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and the last glimpses of a spectacular sunset. Simply relax in this fabulous setting and indulge your senses in this unique culinary experience.
  • Breakfast is served between 7.00 a.m. and 10.00 a.m.
  • Dinner has a first sitting of 6.30p.m. and the last sitting is at 8.30 p.m.

Activities at Peppers Palm Bay

Whether its relaxation and pampering you seek, or excitement and exploration on the Great Barrier Reef, or perhaps an intimate hideaway for two, you can have it all at Peppers Palm Bay in the Whitsundays, Australia.

At Palm Bay the crystal clear sea will entice you to swim and snorkel, or you may want to explore the Island’s secluded bays by sea kayak, dingy, sailing boat, or by foot. Peppers Palm Bay can supply a gourmet picnic so you can lose yourself exploring for the whole day. For the pure romantics, Peppers can also arrange a Champagne picnic, with return transfers for you and your partner to a secluded part of the magnificent Whitsunday Islands, many of which are totally uninhabited. There lies all of nature, all you can see, and just two people to share it. You may also enjoy walking some of the 15 kilometre network of rainforest trails and encountering the local wildlife; the much loved wallabies, the tropical butterflies and native birds such as the laughing kookaburra or brightly coloured parrots.

For the true holiday experience, allow yourself to be rejuvenated and pampered at the Endota Day Spa. (Open 8am – 3.30pm every day) You can be manicured and massaged, exfoliated and cocooned and that’s just for starters! The Spa caters for all. There are gentle pregnancy treatments, facial massages and ‘never never land’ treatments where the pampering and massage just goes on and on. Incorporated into the pampering treatments are the Endota’s range of organic skin care products, which will leave you feeling brand new.

At the end of a ‘hard’ day, the salt water swimming pool and heated spa is a good place to unwind before dinner. For the more energetic, a game of tennis on a court right next to the sea could be exhilarating. The tennis court is floodlit so there is no need to try and do everything before sunset.

After a full day you may wish only to swing in your hammock and relax with a book. Another option is to wander down to the DVD library, make a choice and be entertained in the cosy surround sound theatre.

Things To Do In The Area
