Red Mill House B&B Room Types

There are two accommodation styles at Red Mill House Bed and Breakfast. The Tremaine Rooms have queen sized beds with ensuites and are fully air-conditioned; one of these rooms is wheelchair accessible. The Red Mill House also offers a Two Bedroom family unit. The family unit has a separate living area, ensuite and can comfortably sleep four people. Red Mill House features a large veranda, library and cozy living areas. Red Mill House Bed and Breakfasts is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest gardens and boasts a large saltwater swimming pool.

A large saltwater swimming pool is available for cooling off in the year round tropical weather. An extensive wildlife, nature, travel and art library is available to guests in the communal lounge and field guides and binoculars can be borrowed for bird watching walks or tours.

Owned and operated by two enthusiastic birders with priceless knowledge and experience of the unique eco-system and birds the frequent the Daintree World Heritage Rainforest. Location

In the Village of Daintree, 1.5 hours drive north of Cairns Airport on the Captain Cook Highway. Red Mill House is only 200m from the Daintree River. The Red Mill House is easy to find in Daintree Village – you will see our sign and a red flag on your left as you come into town. There is a small general store in town and several restaurants within a short walk for evening meals and lunches.
