Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa Style of Rooms


Two styles of rainforest accommodation are offered at Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa: Rainforest Villas and Spa Villas. Each Rainforest and Spa Villa boasts similar features however the Spa Villas include the added decadence of a deluxe heated Jacuzzi on the spacious timber balcony. The heated Jacuzzis are the ideal way for guests to relax and unwind and enjoying the uninterrupted vista of the world heritage listed rainforest.
Rest your mind and body in one of 15 tranquil rainforest villas. Re-ignite the feeling of being one with nature, the source of all life; truly connect with your roots at The Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa. Each opulent rainforest Villa camouflages into the dense jungle foliage and is constructed meters above the rainforest floor. With tiled floors, air conditioning and screened in balconies you can be ensured a cool and comfortable stay.

Most tree houses have private Jacuzzi bath tubs either in the bathroom or on the balcony. Sip champagne while watching the rain thunder down revitalizing the plant life and then the sun’s rays burst thru to ensure new growth; watch the rainforest come alive right before your eyes with all its creatures such as the endangered Cassowary and Pot a Roo’s coming out to explore for food.

The king sized bed (or two single beds) in each rainforest Villa are romantically draped with cloth netting and each room is tastefully decorated with genuine hand painted local Indigenous Aboriginal artwork. Julaymba Restaurant was featured in The Masters of Cuisine Magazine as one of Australia’s leading dining experiences. Expert chefs will prepare healthy tropical gourmet cuisine to be enjoyed underneath the rainforest canopy. The name Julaymba comes from the Aboriginal word “The Daintree River”. Extending from the restaurant is an indigenous art gallery featuring authentic Australian Aboriginal artwork and artifacts for show and purchase. The Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa is on Daintree Road in The Daintree. From Cairns City International Airport drive just over 2 hours north on the Captain Cook Highway past the Village of Port Douglas and the sugar cane township of Mossman until you reach The Daintree Cable Ferry. After the ferry crossing you will drive for approximately 7 km until you reach The Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa.

We can arrange a Private Chauffeured sedan or limousine, a rent a car or a seat in coach.
