The resorts large salt-water swimming pool is an ideal place to swim some laps, splash around with friends and family or to cool off after a busy day exploring the Atherton Tablelands. If you have come to Kuranda seeking rest and relaxation then the wellness program, which dates back to the 1800’s in Kuranda, will be a perfect way to sooth those aches and pains, and to clear your mind. Some accommodation types have their own private kitchen facilities but if you want to experience a truly tasty meal at a rainforest alfresco restaurant then why not try the Kuranda Veranda Restaurant which is located on site. The menu at Kuranda Veranda is Asian-Inspired although you will easily find something for the kids to enjoy too. Saturday afternoons you can relax to the sounds of jazz music in the rainforest and every so often Kuranda Veranda draws a large crowd with their widely acclaimed Opera in the Rainforest where you can enjoy drinks and a nice meal, seated on a polished timber veranda gazing down to a rainforest covered valley where opera music melodically floats in the air.

In an effort to cater to all types of travellers there are six accommodation styles at Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park the bedding configuration in each differs utilising king, queen, double, single and bunk beds. The rainforest family bungalows sleep up to six people with a separate master bedroom, a set of bunk beds and a fold out couch. Family bungalows have a self-contained kitchen and a spacious private veranda that look out onto an orchid of fruit trees. Rainforest bungalows are designed for couples on a romantic journey and are tucked away at the private end of the park. The romantic rainforest bungalows have a self-contained kitchen, open planned living areas and a private patio that look out onto the rainforest. Poolside units feature expansive courtyards that open up to the poolside oasis. The poolside units sleep up to four people in a double bed and bunk bed or double bed and single bed. These waterfront units have open planned living areas and bright floral designs and self-contained kitchens. Park units were constructed with harvested timber right from Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park. The solid timber units share a spacious veranda and cool breezeway and are suitable for couples and small families sleeping 2-4 people; these units also have self-contained kitchens. The Kookaburra Lodge is an open planned building that has private single and double rooms which open up onto a shared veranda and which also share bathroom and kitchen facilities. Finally Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park has tent, campervan, caravan and motor home sights; some are powered and some are un-powered. These outdoor sites have a block of unisex toilettes and shower facilities as well as male and female private toilette and shower facilities. The camping/caravan sights also have coin operated laundry facilities, and a rustic outdoor kitchen equipped with table, chairs, barbeque, cooking and cleaning facilities and a fridge freezer.

Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park is located in Kuranda, 25 minutes west of Cairns. After taking the Kuranda Range from Smithfield make a right at the first set of lights on Myola Road where you will find Kuranda Rainforest Accommodation Park.
