Kuranda Villas Room Descriptions

Kuranda Villas is situated amongst the beautiful rainforest of Kuranda and just a short stroll into the main center.

Villa 1 is a comfortable and affordable 2 bedroom unit and is well equipped for couples or families to enjoy all that Kuranda has to offer. The villa is fully furnished and self-contained, and within easy walking distance to attractions and restaurants. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second bedroom two single beds. All necessities are provided to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Villa 2 is a 3 bedroom unit well equipped for families to enjoy. This Villa is fully furnished and self-contained with a Queen size bed in the master bedroom, three king single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge room. Private patio area with BBQ and outdoor dining table and chairs were you can relaxed and be enchanted by the abundance of native birds feeding on a variety of flowering trees and shrubs.

Carbon Footprint Note
With the desire to give something back to the environment and reduce carbon footprint, Kuranda Villas have purchased rainforest trees from Curlew Nursery at Koah. For every confirmed booking for Kuranda Villas from 1st June 2009 the Koah Revegetation Group will plant a tree along the Clohesy and Barron Rivers to stabilise the riverbanks. The plantings will take place in the "wet season" when the rainfall is plentiful. Guests who live in the rainforested regions of Far North and North Queensland have the choice of picking a species of tree from Curlew Nursery's plant list to take home with them to plant in their garden, if they prefer. In addition, guests can also choose to purchase trees at a cost of $2.50 per tree for planting by the Koah Revegetation Group or to take home.

MOUNTAIN BIKE HIRE
Kuranda Villas have standard and tandem mountain bikes for hire, which can be booked prior to arrival. Standard mountain bike hire $10.00 for 2 hours, $15.00 for 4.5 hours or $19.00 full day (24 hours). Tandem mountain bike hire $20.00 for 2 hours, $25.00 for 4.5 hours or $36.00 full day (24 hours). Hire includes bike, helmet/s and lock. Payable Direct on arrival.
