Kuranda Resort and Spa Room Descriptions

All of the accommodation at Kuranda Resort and Spa has or is about it undergo recently refurbishment giving the rooms a fresh modern look. Accommodation comes in either Villa cabins or Bungalow apartment style rooms.

Villa Cabins are raised timber buildings, very similar to Bure’ style accommodation found in Fiji, and are situated amongst the ancient rainforest. These accommodations have bright exotic colours and polished timber floorboards; they are air conditioned with all the modern necessities like Austar Satellite TV, refrigerators and ironing facilities.

Apartment Bungalows are exotically designed retreats with polished stone floors, sophisticated Fijian designs and wooden furnishings. Apartment Bungalows are self contained with stainless steel appliances (stove, microwave, oven, and refrigerator), air conditioning, televisions, Egyptian cotton day beds and separate living and dining areas.

One bedroom Villa Cabins have a queen sized bedroom with an upstairs bunk and a spacious bathroom.
One bedroom Loft Villa Cabins which overlook the lush rainforest gardens have an upstairs king sized bedroom. These Villas have cedar flooring and red cedar timber louvers; downstairs there is a comfy Egyptian cotton Day-bed.
Two bedroom Villa Cabins are truly indulgent and spread over two levels. These Villas have a bedroom upstairs and one downstairs. The lounge area has an oversized Egyptian cotton ‘hideaway’ day bed and can sleep four or five people in queen sized beds; some two bedroom Villa cabins have spa baths.
Two bedroom/ two bathroom luxury Villa Cabins are spread over two levels and can sleep up to seven people in two double beds, one single bed, a fold out bed and the Egyptian cotton day bed.
The premium Forest Experience Villa Cabins are great for families. These Villas have a double bed upstairs and two bunk beds downstairs. The Forest Experience Villa Cabins have partial cooking facilities with a microwave and hotplates; these Villas are not air-conditioned.
One bedroom Apartment Bungalows are spread throughout one or two levels and have a queen sized bedroom plus a private balcony.
Two bedroom Apartment Bungalows are spread throughout one or two levels and have three separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. These self contained bungalows sleep four people and are great for families with a double bed and set of bunk beds for the children to enjoy.
Three bedroom Apartment Bungalows are spread throughout one level. These spacious self contained apartments are great for families or groups and can sleep 6 people, bedding types vary enquire at time of booking.
