There are three room styles to choose from at Atherton Blue Gums Bed and Breakfast. Deluxe Rooms have queen sized beds with a private ensuite and tea and coffee facilities. Superior Rooms have a queen sized bed, ensuite and private patio access. Atherton Blue Gums B&B also has a guest’s relaxation area that has a TV with satellite Austar service, a kitchenette, dining table and lounge chairs, and laundry washing facilities.

The freshly served breakfast can be brought to your room, on the pool deck or in the guest’s relaxation room. All produce is from local farms guaranteeing the freshest in quality.

Here on the Atherton Tablelands you will meet hard working Australians whose families go back generations as pioneers of this district. Migrants from all around the world settled on the Atherton Tablelands (also known as the Cairns Highlands) thru the Gold rush periods and then firmly established the area for farming all sorts of exotic foods like mangos, lychee’s, avocados and passion fruit. The natural environment surrounding Atherton Blue Gums Bed and Breakfast is an attraction in itself.

The rare Mabi Rainforest is classified as ‘highly sensitive’ and is home to some of the most protected species on the planet such as the Lumholtz's Tree-Kangaroo, Red-legged Pademelon and Green Ringtail Possums; nature enthusiasts, wildlife lovers and bird watchers will be in paradise holidaying amongst this unique ecosystem. The region is also home to a past of dynamic volcanic action. Although the activity has died completely in the past 20,000 years the remnants of these active geological wonders are present throughout the Cairns Highlands. Within a short drive of Atherton Blue Gums Bed and Breakfast you will find Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine which are two volcanic crater lakes surrounded by rainforest and wildlife; perfect for a swim and a hike.
