The Summit Bed and Breakfast Style of Rooms

The Summit Bed and Breakfast is ‘non hosted’ holiday accommodation, and can be hired on a bed and breakfast basis or exclusively as a holiday home. When hired as a holiday home, this spacious three/four bedroom retreat is ideally suited to families or groups of eight.

When hired on a bed and breakfast basis, there are three luxurious guest suites to select from – the Wallaby, Pademelon and Bandicoot Rooms. Each suite boasts a king size bed (which can be split into twin singles if necessary), private ensuite bathroom with a luxurious heated spa, and all suites have private access to the large furnished wrap around veranda. The Wallaby and Bandicoot guest suites each accommodate two guests, while the Pademelon Suite features interconnecting rooms that share the ensuite bathroom. As such the Pademelon Room will only be hired to dual couples or families travelling together.

The Summit Bed and Breakfast is a home away from home, offering a range of luxuries and conveniences. Each guest suite at the Summit Bed and Breakfast boasts a television with cable (satellite) access and luxurious bed linens.

For guests enjoying bed and breakfast accommodation at the Summit, a complimentary continental breakfast package is provided. The large living area features a private library collection, the perfect addition to any secluded country retreat. The Summit Bed and Breakfast is ideal for wilderness enthusiasts, and the native creatures of the forest can often be spotted from the large outdoor veranda. Possums, pademelons, exotic forest birds and butterflies are just some of the locals guests may encounter.

The Summit B&B Facilities and Activities

The Summit Bed and Breakfast offers a range of exquisite guest facilities such as a large heated saltwater swimming pool and spa with an attractive waterfall feature. Reminiscent of a hidden rainforest rockpool, the swimming pool provides the ideal location to wallow after a day of trekking through the forest. Guests can relax in the large poolside spa with a glass of wine and good book, or when the sun goes down enjoy the glittering of moonlight reflected from the waters surface as one ponders the amazing natural wilderness at the Summit Bed and Breakfast. Undercover car parking is provided, and a rainwater tank provides natural drinking water all year round.

The Summit Bed and Breakfast is located adjacent to Hallorans Hill Conservation Park – a unique forest steeped in Australian Aboriginal history. Hallorans Hill Conservation Park features a geological marvel – an extinct volcano cone that developed millions of years ago. Eucalypt forest, intercepted with endangered Mabi Rainforest, covers the unique geological wonder, and provides a thriving habitat for an abundance of native Australian wilderness. The climb to the peak of the summit is a moderate 1.4 klm walk, and the views from the top of Hallorans Hill reach to the edges of the picturesque Atherton Tablelands and beyond.
