Privacy is at the core of a stay at the Grandview Country Retreat, and as such the property only boasts three cottages – the Grandview Suite, the Highlander Suite and the Rainforest Suite. Each self contained cottage features all the comforts of home, with the addition of a number of luxuriant extras to make your stay at Grandview Country Retreat one to remember.

Enjoy the daily country breakfast hampers featuring the freshest seasonal Atherton Tableland produce - straight from the farm to your plate. Other luxury inclusions are plush bath robes, locally produced hand-made soaps and personal toiletries, and complimentary port and chocolates on arrival.

Grandview Suite:is a spacious cottage that evokes feelings of warmth and welcome. This cosy country retreat boasts sensational views of the award winning gardens and rolling patchwork paddocks of the Atherton Tablelands. The Grandview Suite boasts two spacious bedrooms that feature a king and a queen, ideal for four guests. The Grandview Suite is ideal for dual couples or small groups seeking an enchanted country sanctuary.

• Sleeping configuration — Queen Bed and King Single Ensembles. The main bedroom features a quality pillow–top queen size mattress with premium bed linen and pillows. The second bedroom features a premium king single ensembles
• Separate Lounge Room with a cosy log fire and sumptuous furnishings including leather recliner chairs and a 2 ½ seater art-deco style lounge

Highlander Suite: boasts a unique rustic ambiance that reflects the charm of the Atherton Tablelands perfectly. The Highlander Suite boasts unique Australiana décor and photographs that reflect the history and scenery of the Cairns Highlands are displayed prominently. A red cedar feature wall provides a unique architectural element to this distinctive cottage. One spacious bedroom features a queen bed, and there are also single bunks to accommodate extra guests. Total sleeping capacity of the Highlander Suite is four guests.

• Sleeping configuration — Queen Bed and Single Bunks. The Highlander Suite offers a separate bedroom (with air conditioning) with queen size bed. The main living area has single bunks and a fold-out futon lounge. Quality mattresses with matching premium bed linen and pillows give a restful night’s sleep
• Comfortable 3 seater lounge

Rainforest Suite: is a charming cottage nestled at the base of a rainforest-clad mountain. The Rainforest Suite exudes romance and elegance and provides a private personal oasis. The Rainforest Suite offers guests unlimited enjoyment of the exotic gardens and tropical rainforest. The Rainforest Suite can sleep three guests with a queen and single bed and is the perfect cottage for couples seeking a private romantic retreat or small families.

For the more active, explore the myriad of bushwalking tracks that run through Grandview’s five acre property, go mountain bike riding through the countryside or enjoy a game of tennis on Grandview’s private tennis court.

For those who simply want to relax, enjoy a cold Australian beer, wine or tropical cocktail at the ‘Ice-O-Bar’ with your hosts Chris and Louise, or find a shady spot in the award winning gardens to finally finish that book, watch the flitter and fluttering of the forest birds or simply take a nap.

The Grandview Country Retreat is self catering, however with prior notification gourmet food hampers can be made available for your enjoyment. All gourmet food hampers contain only the freshest and finest seasonal Atherton Tablelands produce. The Atherton Tablelands is renowned for its sumptuous regional produce that is showcased in a number of award winning restaurants in the Village of Yungaburra, only a short drive from Grandview Country Retreat.
