Free Entertainment & two firework displays
Enjoy the celebrations with the city of Cairns, starting with the family entertainment, The Doyle Family Fun Show & Rachel Bradley will be near the Lagoon area from 6pm to 9pm.
Starting at 6pm through to ring in the new year will be a free concert featuring great local talent such as Sam Clark followed by Frontear & Flavour.
The first fireworks display will burst into the skies over Cairns at 9pm, followed by the popular local band Amy Chase.
This years headline act is former Hunters & Collectors frontman Mark Seymour and his current band 'The Undertow'.
They will hit the stage at 10.30pm to take the celebrations through to midnight.
Midnight! The firework Finale will usher in 2015 with spectaular colour.

Road Closure & Parking Restrictions Information:
Closure 10am Wed 31 Dec until 6am Thur 01 Jan 2015 - Cairns Esplanade from Shields to Aplin Streets.
Car Parks closed 6am Wed 31 Dec 2014 until 6am Thur 01 Jan 2015 - Cairns Espalande from Shields to Aplin Streets.
Emergency vehicles will be permitted access at all times.
Delivery access will not be possible during the road closure.
