The 2017 Tastes of the Tablelands festival is on again and will be better and bigger than ever. Since its inception in 2008 the Tastes of the Tablelands has grown to be one of the most significant foodie festival in our region showcasing what Tropical North Queensland has to offer.
This event is organised by the Atherton Rotary Club and its commitee members are a group of very passionate local residents wanting everyone to have a fantastic time and sample our local produce. Like previous years the Chinese Temple in Atherton will open its ground to host the festival on Sunday 15th October from 8:30am to 4:00pm so why not spend the day... there will things to do, see and taste for the whole family so come and join us!
- Non-stop entertainment,
- Workshops,
- Cookery demonstrations and competitions to watch,
- Classic cars,
- Children’s activities
- Working artists,
- ... And the highlight... gourmet food and cool drinks to enjoy throughout the day.
You will also be able to buy direct from Farmers who will be selling their produce on the day.
This festival is a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy so why not take some extra time off and spend the weekend on the Tablelands
