Room Descriptions
There are four different room types at Southern Cross Atrium Apartments. Each apartment is ideal for families, groups or dual couples. All apartments have European cooking facilities (kitchenettes with microwave, stove and full kitchens with dishwasher, stove and microwave), telephones, wireless internet, satellite TV and internet access. Apartments are cool and spacious and have private balconies with timber louvers and air conditioning. Ground floor apartments are wheelchair accessible.
Apartments can be linked to neighbouring apartments through dual key entry in order to accommodate for larger groups; all bedrooms have king or queen sized beds.
Studio Units have an ensuite with a shower, kitchenette and furnished patio.
One Bedroom Superior Rooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower, kitchenette, shared laundry and a furnished deck.
One Bedroom Deluxe Apartments have an ensuite bathroom with a bath, a full kitchen, private laundry facilities and a furnished deck.
Two Bedroom Apartments are dual key designs and feature two bathrooms, a full kitchen, private laundry facilities and two furnished decks.
Property Description
Although in the midst of the city, Southern Cross Atrium Apartments are a tropical oasis surrounded by exotic gardens and flowing water features. The ‘atrium style’ apartments are built around a lagoon style swimming pool and each self contained apartment faces out towards the garden and swimming pool. There are four apartment blocks that interlink through landscaped pathways and overhead ceilings. Palm trees, Balinese style designs and illuminated water features characterize the property.

The accommodation was perfect, as a young person the location of the hotel was good as it was less than 20 mins away from everything such as bars, restaurants and scenery! I would recommend others to stay there!

Accommodation is situated close to railway and within easy walking distance to waterfront. Access to upper rooms is difficult with suit cases. Well equipped apartments and clean.

The accommodation at Southern Cross Atrium Apartments was great and in a good location within walking distance of shops.
Except for a booking mixup when we first arrived, the stay was good. Clean apartments close to Cairns CBD. Would recommend to others
My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Southern Cross Atrium Apartments so much we didnt want to leave. We had everything that we needed for our 9 night stay. We would recommend to any of our friends to stay there.
Excellent accomodation and facilities. For short stay visitors of three to four days, I would have preferred to pay a little extra for the provision of tea/coffee/milk etc. for our stay, in preference to having to buy our own supplys for the sake of a few days. Otherwise a great stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends as was the case with our stay.

We loved our holiday break in Northern Queensland. Food in restaurants was delicious and plenty of variety. We'll be back
Accommodation was good, but overlooked the loading dock at Officeworks, so it was a quite noisy early in the morning. Perhaps this should be taken into account for room prices on that side of the building. We probably wouldnt stay there agin unless we could be guaranteed a quieter room.
The Southern Cross apartments were excellent in location, cleaniless, space and lay out, we had a group of 8 people in 2 condo's which suited us really really well.
