Heritage Lodge & Spa Rainforest Cabins

Each of the 20 Rainforest Cabins are nestle in the Daintree Rainforest and great for butterfly, bird or musky rat kangaroo spotting. All Rainforest Cabins feature high ceilings to maximise the rainforest experience with a private balcony, air-conditioning with ceiling fans, and are all fully screened.

Queen Rainforest Cabin
Ideal for couples with a Queen size bed and ensuite. Enjoy a romantic getaway perhaps with a glass of wine, a treatment at the Day Spa and the serenity of the world heritage rainforest.

Family Rainforest Cabin
Great for families with kids. These cabins feature a Queen size bed along with one or two single beds, and two of the cabins also have a bunk bed which can accommodate a maximum of 2 Adults and 3 Children.

Heritage Lodge & Spa Facilities

On arrival at Heritage Lodge you are made to feel right at home. From the smells of fresh bread drifting from the kitchen to the warm welcome from the attentive local staff.

Take a swim with jungle perch and turtles in untouched crystal clear Cooper Creek, which winds through the lodge en-route from the mountains to the sea. Perhaps enjoy a BBQ or experience the rainforest with private rainforest walking tracks around the Lodge.

With a Swimming Pool, Guest library, Day Spa, Free DVD library, and not to mention the amazing abundance of wildlife in the region - you can choose to do as much or as little as you desire. Staying at Heritage is more then just a holiday, it is an experience!

On The Turps Restaurant
Start the day with a tropical continental breakfast featuring homemade jams, tropical fruits, local meats, milk, cheeses and other scrumptious goodies, along with coffee and Daintree Tea.

For a delicious lunch dine overlooking the sparkling blue Cooper Creek and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the rainforest, spotting for musky rat kangaroos and other Daintree wildlife. For Dinner there is a Mediterranean menu which features a la carte dishes of 5 star quality designed from the finest of local ingredients. Arrive early to take advantage of the bar menu. Why not try a delicious Mango Wine or Black Sapote Port.

For the kids - a fantastic children's menu is available along with a vast array of wildlife to enjoy.

On the Turps Bar and Restaurant is open for morning and afternoon tea. Drop in and enjoy a coffee, scones and a swim! has been extended to take in the view of the majestic Cooper Creek, with a large deck and sail structure

Location

Daintree, just two hours North of Cairns, one hour north of Port Douglas, this is the only place in the world where two world heritage listed National Parks join. This section of the Daintree rainforest, is where the worlds most ancient rainforest, meets the reef.

You can choose to hire a vehicle and drive to the Daintree, which you will require to purchase a ticket for the Daintree River Cable Crossing, which is approximately $21 return. Please ensure to enquire about car rentals when you make your accommodation booking for the Daintree.
