The Edge at Tinaroo has a main house, complete with living area, deck and two bedrooms, as well as three separate units and a bunkhouse. Although the main house, suites and bunkhouse can sleep 14 people, smaller groups are also accommodated for.

Each Private Suite features a lavish king bed and exquisite bathroom with Jacuzzi spa bath. The main section of the house features two luxurious king size bedrooms. A teenagers retreat is nestled at the back of the luxurious holiday home and features 10 king single double bunk beds (more beds are available if required).

The Edge Holiday Home is a stunning piece of architecture created by Chris Van Dyke. The luxurious holiday home at Lake Tinaroo Edge has views of the picturesque lake and surrounding forest from almost every room in the house. The front of the house is built with floor to ceiling glass windows and doors and opens up onto the shaded timber veranda at the front of the home providing expansive water views from every angle. Inside the Edge holiday house you will find polished timber floorboards, vibrant colors and funky contemporary décor. Innovative lighting adds to the chic look and there is plenty of space to comfortably sleep 14 guests, when booking the entire complex. Most of the bedrooms feature uninterrupted lake views and are decorated with bold designs, intriguing artwork and uncompromised comfort.

The state of the art kitchen has gourmet stainless steel appliances, quality glassware, crockery and cutlery, a double door fridge/ freezer which blends seamlessly with the walls, light timber and glass cabinetry, a gas cook top with a sleek canopy and a central breakfast bar with a hanging wine glass rack above. The Edge Holiday Home features ample indoor dining and has seating room for 10 people, plus additional dining outdoors. The living room has a funky red couch that is contrasted with soft faux fur blankets, there is a large wall mounted plasma screen television, a CD/DVD player, Austar TV, wireless internet, and a cozy wood fire place for those chilly winter evenings in the corner for the romantic nights on The Atherton Tablelands.

From the kitchen walk out onto the expansive polished timber veranda which is just meters away from the waters edge.

Fisherman will also love Lake Tinaroo. The lake is stocked with giant Barramundi and Sooty Grunter which will give you the fight of your life; the world’s biggest Sooty Grunter weighing in at 12lb was caught in Lake Tinaroo. Fishing competitions are held at Lake Tinaroo regularly. While staying at The Edge luxury holiday house at Lake Tinaroo you can go on a half day fishing trip with a professional guide or charter your own boat for the day; there are paddle skis and kayaks for the use of guests at the house as well. From Cairns you can travel north, through the Kuranda range or south through the Gillies Highway. The Edge Holiday Home is an hour west of Cairns. Cancellations Must be advised in writing. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will result in the forfeit of 50% of the total booking amount! A cancellation fee of 10% of all monies paid (plus credit card charges if applicable) will apply to all cancelled bookings 7+ days of arrival. Minimum fee $50.00. The premises are expected to be left in a clean and similar fashion to what they are presented in. Additional cleaning fees will be charged at the discretion of the owners
