I thought Hides Hotel would be old and quaint. It is just old. Threadbare towels. Linoleum that has seen way better days. However, is was clean, excellent location and decent brekkie so all in all was okay. Day staff were very friendly. Afternoon/evening lady not so.

When I booked I was prepared to pay extra to book a superior room,but when we got there they had not been informed that we wanted two single beds as I was with my daughter. They put us in a family room which was overlooking the front street which made it very noisy. The hotel itself was central to everything and clean.
