There are six room types to choose from at Cairns Queen Court. Standard Rooms are comfortable 2.5 star rooms which have a queen sized bed and have shared bathroom facilities; these rooms sleep a maximum of 2 people, standard twin rooms are also available. Rooms have a television, Tea/Coffee facilities, individual airconditioning and room safe. Complimentary breakfast is included in the tariff.
Superior Rooms are beautifully appointed 3.5 star rooms with one queen sized bed and private bathroom facilities. Three person interconnecting Family Rooms have a queen sized bed and one single bed and four person interconnecting family rooms have one queen sized bed and two single beds. Rooms have queen bedding, LCD flat screen television, room safe, microwave, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, voice mail,room safe, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. A Continental buffet breakfast is included in the tariff.
Premier Rooms Deluxe 4 star Premier Suite offers exceptional comfort. Premier rooms have Queen and Single bedding, with ensuite shower, hairdryer in bathroom with full bathroom amenities. Premier rooms feature ceiling fans, balcony's, individual split airconditioning, microwave, tea/coffee, Austar cable television, free wireless internet. Also includes a continental buffet breakfast. Rooms are serviced daily.
Studio Apartments are spacious self contained suites and designed for those wishing to cater for themselves while on holidays. Rooms offer king sized bed or single beds; all rooms are air-conditioned and have high speed broadband connections. Kitchenette facilities include cooktop and microwave, cooking untensils, crockery and cuttlery, dining table and chairs, ceiling fans, clock radio, room telephone with voicemail. Ensuite with full bathroom amenities, hair dryer,Austar cable television. Studio Suites are serviced daily and includes a continental buffet breakfast.

Cairns Queens Court Boutique hotel motel is located on Sheridan Street which is the main street heading into Cairns. It is only a 10 minute walk into the city and a five minute walk to the waterfront. Ön late arrival we were left a key to a Superior Double booked through you. We were aghast at the condition the of the room with torn net curtains and a very small air-conditioner that "chugged" through the night preventing any sleep although we had travelled from Adelaide through Brisbane, a long journey. However on advising Reception of our dissatisfaction of what we had and what we expected they immediately upgraded us to C Block. We were told we had booked 3.1/2 * but were being upgraded to 4 *. I doubt the first rooms was anything other than 2*. However the new studio room was absolutely lovely, definitely a 4* and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. The complex and continental breakfasts were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days there. We would stay there again and would recommend to anyone, and in fact did during our visit, to other friends visiting Cairns for the same wedding. However I would suggest double checking this first room held for us in an attempt not to let the good standard of this accommodation suffer in the future, because some guests may just walk out without discussion with Reception,giving this complex a bad name which it would not really deserve.
Yes it was very nice and staff very helpful. Two things which I think could improve is I think it is a bit much to pay $7 to use the outside BBQ, and we booked a studio room so we could do a bit of cooking but we were to scared to do anything as we were told that even a toaster could set off the fire alarm and then we would have to pay approx $700 when the fire brigrade came, especially when the fire detector is between the small hotplates and the fan, Because of these two things, I don't know if I would stay there again, but everything else was good

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us at Queens Court. We feel our fee of $7.00 for the BBQ use fair due to the extras we provide along with the usage, cuttlery, plates, condiments etc.
With regard to using the cooking facilities in our studios, I do ask staff to advise guests to use caution when using these facilities due to the fire alarm being activated. This is only a caution as some guests use the hot plate like a BBQ and fill the room with smoke which can activate the alarm. Normal usage of our facilities does not cause any problems.

An excellent venue, as we needed an accessible unit as I use a wheelchair. Only problem with room was that expelair in bathroom had louvres that didn't open rendering it useless. No worry, except that there were warnings of being charged $800+ if the steam set off any automatic fire alarms!!
The accommodation we stayed in at Queens Court was lovely. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

It was much different from what I was expecting based on its online profile, though it suited my purposes.
The room is clean and tidy. Basic facility is there and breakfast was fine. Most important is that here is free Wi-fi for the guest.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Cairns Queens Court. Well situated, good amenities, wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. Very relaxing around the pool.

the accomodation was good, the only fault was that we booked return airport transfers, confirming them both with cairns holiday specialists and queens court reception before we departed, when confirming departure time (the day before we left cairns) we were told there were no weekend transfers. I felt we should have been made aware of this as this was a big influence on us choosing queens court,

Our courtesy airport pick ups are clearly stated Monday - Friday 7am to 5pm
and courtesy drop off is clearly stated at select times
10am and 12 noon Monday - Friday also.
