Yes, very much. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment was ideal & we had a wonderful view overlooking the lagoon pool on the Esplanade.
We did find the pool to be very chilly however & it would be great if during spring at least, it could be heated.

Yes very much. We were upgraded from a king motel room to a king 1 bedroom overlooking Esplanade at no extra cost. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the suit was very clean.

Yes. The accommodation is perfectly located opposite the lagoon and we were upgraded to a sea view room. The only downside was the pool which was on the shady side so we could not lay beside it.

Nice welcome at the hotel, my husband is in a wheelchair and was upgraded to a disabled room with a ocean view. The staff informed us that we can watch the parade in the evening. A very nice thank you to the staff.

Absolutely fantastic staying in room 317 a 1 bedroom it was very clean, comfortable and quite a large apartment. I was very impressed and the staff were very nice. A plus being on the esplanade, close to the night markets, Woolworth's supermarket a 2 minute walk and cairns central a 10 minute walk.

This is in an excellent location, close to the fabulous lagoon pool, restaurants, supermarket and night markets, including the food court. Housekeeping at this resort provided an excellent service and every effort was made to help us with our apartment requests. We hope to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Yes, it was a great room and happy with location.
There was a few issues such as no compendium in room to provide information on what was available, the tap in the bathroom was broken and swung to the edge of basin causing issue for trying to use water and the fan in the master bedroom needed adjusting for an annoying clicking noise when on.
Apart from that, it was all fine.

Great check in - very friendly staff
Lovely clean room with well equipped kitchen.
Only negative - terrible water pressure in the shower and constant variation in temperature made for some interesting showers!
It's also time for all properties to offer internet as standard - it's not like it's unusual or not many people use it!

Mantra Espanade is ideally located in the heart of Cairns. We only stayed for 1 night and found the hotel a little dated but the location made up for this - apartments are very spacious & staff at this hotel very friendly.

Mantra Esplanade is located in such strategic location, especially when travelling with young kids. Service is great, reception is very helpful and we were even upgraded from hotel room to 1 bedroom apartment for one week stay.

I was very disapointed because prior to booking I was not told that the room would not be serviced daily. I could have paid $25 extra per service if desired and booked on the preceding day.The Motel staff told me this was Mantra policy however I have since found out that is not true. The facility itself was well located and comfortable.

I did enjoy the stay at the Mantra Esplanade very convenient
As the pool and spa were in the shade it was a tad cool, luckily the esplanade pool was great for swimming as the sun was on it all day. Only negative is that when you book into the Mantra they ask for a credit card imprint which is pretty much the norm these days but what isn't is that you have to read in the inhouse book that they charge you 2% surcharge if you use your credit card. I would have liked for the staff to tell me this at the counter when they asked me for my credit card - I know that the merchant fee for credit cards is high but it looks like the business have to pass this onto the customer - I still don't like it. It has made me more aware to ask the question at booking in - do you charge a surcharge if I use my credit card.
