Superior Rooms (3 1/2 Star)
Superb location just minutes to the Esplanade/City. These modern en-suited rooms are fully airconditioned and have a queen size bed OR 2 Singles, small fridge and flat screen LCD TV. Rooms are serviced daily. Includes the convenience of Free WiFi.
Family Rooms/Interconnecting Rooms (3 1/2 Star)
Family rooms comprise of two interconnecting rooms with private bathroom to sleep up to 4 people. Master bedroom has a Queen Bed whilst the second bedroom has two Single Beds. Accommodation was at the standard I expected, and was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was sufficient to begin the day and there was plenty to go round. The Wi-Fi was an added benefit. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and helped create a relaxed atmosphere. I would happily stay there again. Thank you for a great couple of nights.

Hotel was well situated in the town. The room was adequate and comfortable for the time spent in it. The ensuite shower was odd; every time you had a shower water would end up all over the bathroom floor and there was no extractor fan. Breakfast was basic - cooked breakfast was an extra cost. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great accomodation. Stayed the Novotel oasis before coming to queens court. Queens court was much more spacious, good facilities and even gave us complimentary breakfast, tea, coffee fridge, kettle and was very well priced. Staff were lovely. Would definitely stay here again. Novotel can learn a thing or two.

I stayed in a standard room which met all my needs as a transit traveller. The staff at the motel were very friendly and helpful. For example arriving at midnight, I was able to get a key and find my room without having to wake them up. Breakfast was good, and transport was organised from and to the airport in a timely manner.

Even though we knew the weather would be muggy in the height of summer, we found it astounding that there was no ventilation in any of the apartment complexes. The ceiling fans were not running, which meant the short trip from leaving your air conditioned room, descending 2 flights of stairs in stifling heat and humidity, to the lobby / breakfast / carpark, your clothes were soaked with sweat and needed showering again. A minor complaint, perhaps, but disconcerting when you can see several large ceiling fans throughout the common areas of the building, not in use, and all the ventilation louvres and windows are all locked up tight. It's all very well to say "we're being environmentally conscious"..... Bit that is the customers decision, either to use a/c or fans in their room - or not! The common areas of the complex should have been made as comfortable as possible for all tourists and customers.

It was clean and ok. We needed more towels as although it sleeps 3, we also had a 3yr old who requires a towel! There was a microwave but no cutlery or plates? Wasn't sure what was required from us in terms of cleaning. We had an incident where a glass broke and we couldn't find anything but tissues to use for cleaning. Found a well hidden broken dustpan and brush later. Breakfast was busy but very good. Pool was very small. Otherwise good.

Ön late arrival we were left a key to a Superior Double booked through you. We were aghast at the condition the of the room with torn net curtains and a very small air-conditioner that "chugged" through the night preventing any sleep although we had travelled from Adelaide through Brisbane, a long journey. However on advising Reception of our dissatisfaction of what we had and what we expected they immediately upgraded us to C Block. We were told we had booked 3.1/2 * but were being upgraded to 4 *. I doubt the first rooms was anything other than 2*. However the new studio room was absolutely lovely, definitely a 4* and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.Nothing was too much trouble. The complex and continental breakfasts were great and we thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days there. We would stay there again and would recommend to anyone, and in fact did during our visit, to other friends visiting Cairns for the same wedding. However I would suggest double checking this first room held for us in an attempt not to let the good standard of this accommodation suffer in the future, because some guests may just walk out without discussion with Reception,giving this complex a bad name which it would not really deserve.

Yes it was very nice and staff very helpful. Two things which I think could improve is I think it is a bit much to pay $7 to use the outside BBQ, and we booked a studio room so we could do a bit of cooking but we were to scared to do anything as we were told that even a toaster could set off the fire alarm and then we would have to pay approx $700 when the fire brigrade came, especially when the fire detector is between the small hotplates and the fan, Because of these two things, I don't know if I would stay there again, but everything else was good

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us at Queens Court. We feel our fee of $7.00 for the BBQ use fair due to the extras we provide along with the usage, cuttlery, plates, condiments etc.
With regard to using the cooking facilities in our studios, I do ask staff to advise guests to use caution when using these facilities due to the fire alarm being activated. This is only a caution as some guests use the hot plate like a BBQ and fill the room with smoke which can activate the alarm. Normal usage of our facilities does not cause any problems.

An excellent venue, as we needed an accessible unit as I use a wheelchair. Only problem with room was that expelair in bathroom had louvres that didn't open rendering it useless. No worry, except that there were warnings of being charged $800+ if the steam set off any automatic fire alarms!!

the accomodation was good, the only fault was that we booked return airport transfers, confirming them both with cairns holiday specialists and queens court reception before we departed, when confirming departure time (the day before we left cairns) we were told there were no weekend transfers. I felt we should have been made aware of this as this was a big influence on us choosing queens court,
