Wet Season Closure
The Jabiru Safari Lodge closes during the wet season (Feb - March). Following the wet season, the Lodge reopens in April as soon as conditions allow.

Jabiru Safari Lodge, Mareeba Wetlands - Style of Accommodation

Deluxe Tented Safari Cabins
The three Deluxe African-style Tented Safari Cabins are well-appointed with comfortable beds - Queen or Double- and a single with all linen, towels, private deck and ensuite bathroom. There is 240v power, fan, fridge, kettle and a toaster, but there are no telephones or televisions in any of the tented safari lodges. The private deck has a table and three chairs.

Eco Tented Safari Cabins
The two Eco Tented Safari cabins are spacious and light with three comfortable single beds and all linen and towels and ensuite bathrooms. There is 12V solar power and a gas fridge. There are no telephones or televisions in either of the Eco cabins. All cabins have a private timber deck with a gas stove with BBQ Plate, kettle and gas toaster and tables and chairs.

All- Inclusive Tariff
The all-inclusive tariff covers all accommodation, meals and activities during your stay. Twin share accommodation, all meals, (including lunches on multiple-night stays) one wildlife safari per night of accommodation and all activities including canoeing, self-guided walking and eco cruises are included. The only extras are beverages or private guiding.

Meals
Continental breakfast provisions provided in your cabin include orange juice, cereal, local plunger coffee, and tea selection, fruit and bread with butter and a variety of condiments. A dinner hamper with gourmet BBQ packs (choice of chicken, meat or seafood) salads and rolls is provided. Breakfast and dinner can be eaten at the table on your deck and dinner cooked on the BBQ. All cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for you to cook and enjoy your meals on the deck are provided.

Jabiru Safari Lodge Gates For security and privacy, the Reserve gates are locked overnight from 4.30pm until 9.00am. For late arrivals and early departures arrangements will be made, please advise at time of booking to get instructions to access the gate key box.

Telephone There are no telephones or television in any of the tented safari lodges. Next G and Digital mobile phone reception is available from most areas of the Reserve. The Lodge phone can be used for emergency purposes.

Spa Jacuzzi A spa tub is located adjacent to the deluxe safari cabins and may be used from 7am until 9pm.

Laundry facilities There are no laundry facilities available at the Lodge.
