Two Bedroom Cottage Retreat
Enjoy the majestic views of Lake Tinaroo and Atherton Tablelands from your luxurious Double Spa on the balcony of your modern two bedroom retreat. Complete with selft contained kitchen, laundry and BBQ facilities, these two bedroom retreats provide comfortable accommodation for up to 4 guests (additional fees apply for 3rd & 4th guest).

The open plan lounge and dining area, flows out to the spacious balcony and stunning views, providing endless views and amazing Sunsets! Complete with a wood fire for the winter months, Tinaroo Sunset Retreats is a lovely retreat all year round.

Wheelchair Accessible Accommodation

Cottage 1 provides guests in wheelchair access to the Retreat by a ramp. With open plan design the retreats are wheelchair friendly.

Atherton Tablelands Attractions

With a range of beautiful natural attractions nearby, Tinaroo Sunset Retreat is a great base for exploring the Atherton Tablelands including Lake Barrine, Lake Echam, The Crator, Curtain Fig Tree, Malanda Falls, Milla Milla Falls, and Herberton Historic Village. Not to mention the Tablelands Food Trail taking in the nearby Coffee Plantations, Gallo Dairyland, Chocolate, Tropical Produce and townships of the Atherton Tablelands.  For a scenic view ensure to book a Hot Air Balloon ride over the tablelands as the sun rises.

Every weekend there is a market on somewhere on the Tablelands - Atherton Markets, Mareeba Markets, Malanda & Yungaburra Markets to suggest a few.

The Atherton Tablelands Food Trail is the high altitude southern region of rolling green hills where the lush green pastures produce some of the creamiest dairy products in Australia. This area is full of natural attractions and home to the Waterfall Circuit and Misty Mountains Trails around the Millaa Millaa, Malanda, Atherton and Yungaburra.

Located on the southern end of Lake Tinaroo near Yungaburra, Tinaroo Sunset Retreat is approximately 1.5 hours from Cairns Airport via the Gillies Range. Approximately 5.2 kms from the highway, Tinaroo Sunset Retreat provides a quiet retreat, yet close enough to explore the region.
