Gardenview Suites
These spacious beach view roms offer feature direct accesss onto the beach along with a private balcony to indulge in the natural beauty of the tropical surroundings.  Suites feature a separate bedroom with luxurious King Bed and double sofa bed in the lounge area. (Max 4 guests*)

Oceanview Villa
Located high on Sunset Bay, the Oceanview Villas offer filtered Sea Views with easy access to number of secluded beaches. Villas feature a private deck to enjoy the tropical surrounds. (Max 2 guests)

Oceanview Plunge Pool Villa
Located high on Sunset Bay, the Oceanview Plunge Pool Villas offer filtered Sea Views with easy access to a number of secluded beaches, with the additional luxury of a private plunge pool with views out to the beach. (Max 2 guests)

Beachfront Suites
Set along Anchor Bay with a path leading directly to the beach the Beachfront Suites boasts sea views from large verandah - complete with day bed!  Enjoy the natural beauty of Lizard Island as the interiors blend the indoors with the out in a spacious open plan design. (Max 3 guests*)

The Pavilion
Boasting complete privacy set high on the point of Sunset Bay - The Pavilion features complete privacy and stunning vistas.  Enjoy spectacular views from your King size bed, and out over your private plunge pool and timber deck complete with sun lounges. The Villa
Secluded set atop a ridge, The Villa is a new level of accommodation at Lizard Island.  Boasting complete privacy and uninterrupted Ocean Views the two bedroom villa features  a private plunge pool, large lounge, butler's kitchen and Daily Sunset champagne and canapes served in your room.  A personal chef and wait staff can be arranged for additional cost. (Max 5 guests*)

Lizard Island Resort Dining  

As a guest of Lizard Island your room rate includes gourmet meals, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, selected Australian wines, beer, spirits and sparkling wine, mini bar, and picnic hampers.  Additional charges apply for Cocktails, Cellar Master List and Sunset Beachside Degustation menu.

Salt Water Restaurant -
Enjoy a relaxed dining option with stunning views and fresh local produce. Open for Breakfast 7am- 10:30am, Lunch 12:00 and Dinner from 6:30pm, Salt Water Restaurant offers daily changing menu with a blend of modern Australian, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.

Driftwood Bar - 
After a morning of exploring this tropical paradise, relax in the comfortable sofas with a tropical juice or perhaps a tea or coffee as you take in the tropical ambience.  Open from 10am  the Driftwood Bar is the perfect place to sit around the bar and enjoy a chilled beverage, or maybe have a tailor made cocktail to suite your mood! A Cellar Masters list is also available if you wish to purchase a special wine for the occasion. 

Private Picnic Hampers - 
Imagine taking a dinghy to your own deserted beach to enjoy a gourmet picnic - Simply choose a menu and beverage selection the night prior and everything will be prepared for you by the team of chefs.  Gourmet picnic hamper menus include tropical salads, fresh seafood and chilled beverages for your taste buds delight! Private beach picnics are included as part of your stay.

Beachside Degustation Dining 
Experience a unique Lizard Island Beachside Degustation Dinner to the sounds of the gentle waves lapping the beach. Prior to dinner, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Chef to discuss your 7-course degustation menu and matching wine selection.  Private dining can be booked on arrival or during your stay at Lizard Island with only two couples dining each evening and is subject to availability. Additional charges apply.

Lizard Island Resort Functions & Weddings

Location

Lizard Island is located 240km north of Cairns and 27km off the coast of Tropical North Queensland. It is a National Park covering 1,013ha with 24 sandy beaches. GETTING THERE Regular flights* between Cairns and Lizard Island operate daily 2pm (subject to change).  The scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef takes around 60 minutes.   Please allow a minimum connection time of 1.5hrs for Domestic connections and 2.5hrs for International connections. Coach transfer from Cairns Airport to Scenic Flight Air Terminal (General Aviation Terminal) included. 

*Additional fees apply for Air Tansfers (approx $450 p/p each way). Choose between scheduled daily flights, or optional private charter flights availalbe on request. 

Currently flights will operate twice a day ex Cairns departing 11am and 2pm.  Departing Lizard Island 12:25 and 3:25pm (subject to change)

Please note on the service from Cairns to Lizard Island passengers are restricted to one suitcase and one small carry-on item of hand luggage each. Soft suitcases are preferable. A limit of 25kg (maximum) including 4kg carry-on applies (subject to loading restrictions).  Secure Luggage storage facilities are available.
