Tastes of the Tablelands
The organisers claim this is a must-do event for any self-respecting foodie, and we can see why. With its rich, fertile soil, the Atherton Tablelands is hailed as the food bowl of the tropics. This is the festival where you’ll be able to sample the range of produce the area is so well-known for. From locally grown and roasted coffee, to tropical and boutique wines, the freshest of fresh fruits and vegetables, to ice creams packed with local flavours, there’ll be plenty to sink your teeth in to. There’ll be live music throughout the day as well, so settle in under one of the many shady spots, and enjoy the atmosphere.
