Undara Railway Train Carriages - the turn of the century Queensland Railway Carriages at Undara Eco-Lodge offer the most unique holiday experience in Australia! The Railway Carriages exude an elegance and charm of a bygone era, while providing all creature comforts necessary to enjoy an eco-friendly wilderness experience. Each restored Railway Carriage offers guests the comfort of fans, screens and all linen is included. The accommodation is suitable for single travellers through to families. Some Railway compartments boast ensuite facilities, while others have shared bathroom facilities. Each Railway Carriage at Undara Lava Tube Lodge features a relaxing outdoor area for guests to enjoy the myriad of Australian wildlife and the unique and rugged landscape. The Railway Carriages at Undara Eco-Lodge offers visitors a unique opportunity to return to a long forgotten yesteryear - even if just for a short while.

Undara Wilderness Lodge - is the newest development of Undara Lodge and boasts dormitory-style accommodation perfect for the budget savvy. The eco-friendly Wilderness Lodge features triple share rooms with bunks, fans and linen is included. Guests of the Wilderness Lodge have access to a shady camp kitchen which features hot and cold water, a free gas barbeque, picnic tables and chairs. The real feature of the Wilderness Lodge is the large camp fire area where, at the end of the evening, guests can gather and enjoy the warm embers of the fire while reminiscing about the day adventures throughout the mysterious tunnels and caves of Undara Volcanic National Park.

Undara Swags Tent Village - is a permanent tent village that features a range of luxury tents that allow guests to experience the Australian Outback without 'roughing it'. Swags Tent Village is nestled amongst native Australian bushland and each tent features electric lights, screens, beds/mattresses and a cooler box. The deluxe tents feature a private kitchenette however all guests of Swags Tent Village have access to the Camp Kitchen. The Camp Kitchen features hot water, free gas barbeque, refrigerator, electric hot plates, picnic tables and chairs. The comfortable tents at Swags Tent Village are available in twin, triple and family configurations and linen pack are available at extra cost. Undara Safari Shelter - is a reserved campground close to all facilities of the Undara Lava Tube Lodge. The Safari Shelter is an ideal patch of paradise for guests with their own tents, motor homes or caravans. The Safari Shelter is serviced by a separate amenities block complete with hot and cold water and access for the mobility impaired. An undercover Camp Kitchen is provided which features power, hot and cold water, free gas barbeque, picnic tables and chairs. A large camp fire is provided, perfect for relaxing after a day of enjoying the unique Undara Experience.

The facilities at Undara Lodge are excellent. Sumptuous country style meals are prepared for lunch and dinner daily at Fettler's Iron Pot Bistro. Each morning guests can enjoy a traditional Bush Breakfast at Ringers Camp. Featuring delectable regional fresh produce, there is simply no better way to start the day. Guests can dine on bacon, egg, sausage and grilled tomato cooked fresh on the campfire, while toasting their own bread on the fire. The sumptuous bush breakfast is complemented by freshly brewed Billy Tea and Coffee. The region of Undara is renowned for its warm climate, and features over 300 fine days per year. As such Undara Lodge have created a divine oasis set amongst the rugged Australian bushland, complete with a saltwater swimming pool surrounded by lush green vegetation - perfect for a refreshing dip or relaxing in the sun!

The Undara Volcanic National Park is home to a myriad of mysterious underground lava tube tunnels and caves that can be explored on a number of eco-friendly half day, full day and two-hourly day tours. The Undara Volcanic National Park is an amazing geological and ecological wonder, and features the longest lava tube tunnels in the world. The vegetation that grows at the entrance of the caves are descendants of vine thickets prevalent on Gondwanaland 300 million years ago. Australian wildlife is abundant in Undara Volcanic National Park, and includes a huge variety of birds, kangaroos, wallabies and reptiles. While there is a vast variety of wildlife at Undara, bats are the most common creature of the savannah forest.
