Ferntree - Daintree Rainforest Resort Accommodation

Ferntree’s Rainforest Resort offers accommodation styles suitable for couples and families amongst lush tropical rainforest.

Budget Double Room
Modern and spacious these open planned rooms offer a king sized bed air conditioning, and additional comforts of an ensuite bathroom and veranda with seating. Double or Triple with an additional single bed available  (Max 3 Guests).

Garden Loft
Great for families or couples wanting a tropical experience.  This accommodation style has stunning rainforest views that can be enjoyed from your Balcony. These rooms are air-conditioned and have mini refrigerators, balconies and private bathroom facilities. Garden Rooms with Loft have a king sized bed (or 2 single beds) and two single beds upstairs in the loft - accessible by step ladder.

Rooms provide private bathrooms and showers, eco-airconditioning and ceiling fans, tea and coffee facilities, and small refrigerators. All rooms are cool and comfortable and are submerged unobtrusively in amongst the rainforest offering uninterrupted views of exotic flora and fauna not seen anywhere else in the world.  Please note the Loft is accessible by a ladder and not suitable for children under 5yrs.  Suitable for up to 3 Adults or 2 Adults & 2 Children. A 3rd child can be accommodated on a rollaway on request - fees apply.  Small Pet now permitted (on request)

Luxury Garden Loft
These modern Luxury Garden Loft style accommodation option include additional luxuries - Welcome Bottle of bubbles & complimentary fruit platter, a 55" HD smart TV with complimentary movies, plus location near the deluxe pool. The Luxury garden loft features a 4 poster King bed with two single beds in the open loft space accessed by a stair ladder. (sleeps up to 5 guests)

Family Cabin
The 2-bedroom accommodation has 3 Double Beds and 1 Double Sofa Bed and two bathrooms - ideal for Families and Groups as it can sleep up to 8 people comfortably. Rooms include crisp-white linen, eco-efficient A/C, ceiling fan, fridge, complimentary toiletries, full cooking facilities & BBQ on the balcony along with tea and coffee facilities. Guests can enjoy the family rooms plasma flat-screen TV loaded with current and popular movies to choose from too.

Private Cabin
Set in the Rainforest these private cabins feature natural light and private ensuite and porch.  King or Twin Beds available on request. (Max 2 Adults)  A triple Cabin is also available with King Bed and a Single Bed. 

Ferntree Rainforest Resort Facilities

Ferntree Rainforest Resort has two resort style swimming pools surrounded by a tropical pool deck with lounge chairs. Kids will enjoy these shallow swimming pools which are a safe and fun place for the little one’s to splash around in; there is also plenty of shade to escape the strong tropical sunshine.

Hire bicycles and cycle to the Cape Tribulation Shop for an ice cream cone or wander through some of the extensive trails through the rainforest just outside of your doorstep.

There is a mangrove boardwalk and a beach track that leads right from Ferntree Rainforest Resort. Guests staying at Ferntree Rainforest Resort can watch sporting games and other shows in the communal television room or meet other guests staying at the resort around the communal barbeque.

The Cassowary Café is a timber building with two huts and a wrap around verandah where guests can enjoy Breakfast (7am - 9:30am) and dinner underneath the rainforest canopy.

Open for Dinner each night and features a Pizza night one night a week. Daintree Bar also opened one night a week.  Further dinner options are only a short distance from Ferntree.  Bookings are recommended and restaurant hours are subject to change.

Surrounded by magnificent gardens, the resort is alive with the sounds of the rainforest and provides a tranquil base to explore the spectacular wilderness areas.

Location

Ferntree Rainforest Resort is located in Cape Tribulation. From Cairns drive past Port Douglas and Mossman. Cross the Daintree Cableway and then continue 40 minutes, Ferntree Rainforest Resort is on the left hand side of the road.

To get to Ferntree Rainforest Resort you can use the following options:

Transfer time is approximately two and half hours each way from Cairns. We have a range of 2 or 3 Overnight Day Trips which include guided tours enroute to Cape Tribulation.

You can also organise to hire a car or drive your own and enjoy the magnificent scenery at your leisure. Once you arrive at the Daintree River the ferry, operating between 6am to 11pm, will take you across to Cape Tribulation.
