Daintree Crocodylus Village Accommodation

Tropical Cabin
Nestled under the undisturbed rainforest canopy and with only one common wall our Tropical Cabins are perfect for a couple. Each cabin has its own shower and separate toilet, a double bed, fan, mosquito net  and an outdoor table and chairs for the private veranda. (Max 2 guests)

Rainforest Bungalow
Set individually within the rainforest with no common walls and sleeping up to eight people the Rainforest Bungalows are perfect for a large family or perhaps two smaller ones. Each bungalow has its own bathroom facilities and a large private veranda with tables and chairs. Rates are based on two guests, additional fees for extra guests.  (Max 8 guests)

Jungle Double
Just the thing for those watching their pennies but who don’t want to share our Jungle Doubles or Twins have a double bed or twin beds with mozzie net and use the shared facilities. Toilets are only metres away so midnight visits are no problem! (Max 2 guests)

Safari Hut
Just the thing for a small family or group of friends happy to be all in one room and use the common toilet and shower facilities, these huts include a double bed and one bunk. Each hut shares one common wall with a partner hut and the toilet facilities are just a short walk away. If you want to separate Mum and Dad from the kids check out the Family Forest rooms or a Rainforest Bungalow (Max 4 guests)

Forest Family
These cabins are actually two Jungle Double rooms side by side sharing one balcony. One room is a Jungle Double with double bed and mozzie net and the other is a Jungle Twin with two single beds. They sleep four in the price and allow a little bit of privacy for the kids from Mum and Dad. Please note these are budget rooms that use the common toilet and shower block. If you want an ensuite and a standalone building choose a Rainforest Bungalow (Up to 6 guests)

Kingfisher Cafe
Kingfisher Cafe is open all day everyday with loads of fresh and tasty tropical fare that will tantalise your taste buds but won’t break your budget. Open from 7.30am-8.30pm everyday offering a diverse range of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options including Pizza, Burgers, Wraps, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Cakes, Fruit Salads and Coffee! Kingfisher Café offers a very unique casual dining experience as you will eat right under the rainforest canopy surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle.

Gecko Bar
The Gecko Bar is fully licensed with plenty of exotic cocktails and local brews to keep you well watered and your thirst at bay. A perfect place to wind down after a day out exploring the Daintree, as you sit back and relax and enjoy the rainforest at night.

Please note the Cafe & Bar are closed seasonally Nov-March.  Nearby alternative restaurants available.

Self Catering Kitchen
Our self catering kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your own meals. Kettles, Toasters, Micro-wave oven, Fridge and freezers, Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, fridges, gas cooker, BBQ and lots more. (Just make sure you label all your food with your name and departure date so it's not accidentally thrown out).

General Store
With no supermarkets north of the Daintree River we keep a good selection of groceries, fruit and veggies, toiletries and IT needs just in case you forgot something.

Daintree Attractions

While staying in the Daintree, ensure to explore the local region - perhaps enjoy the thrill of a half day trip to snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef on a half day tour, Ziplining through the rainforest, Horseriding on Cape Tribulation Beach and of course go Croc Spotting on the Daintree River on a Wildlife Cruise.  Exploring the Daintree National Park is a unique experience and a must do while in Far North Queensland.
